Visually impaired services are available to students, parents, and school staff needing assistance in identifying appropriate educational services for students who are visually impaired.

Services may include:

  • Evaluation of students
  • Directly teaching students vision skills
  • Functional vision screenings and low vision exams
  • Consultation with parents and school staff
  • Providing special technology, equipment, and materials specific to visually impaired
  • Providing long-term consistency monitoring visually impaired students and programs
