The Michigan Model for Health is an exemplary, evidence-based, health education program for students in kindergarten through grade 12. The Michigan Model includes two parts:

The Michigan Model for Health curriculum for kindergarten through grade 6 is organized into a teacher manual for each grade. Lessons teach the knowledge and develop the skills students need to support and enhance healthy lifestyles in six topical units:
The
K-6 Scope and Sequence provides a concise overview of the lessons. Review the comprehensive health framework, to see the specific student learning objectives for each grade in each topic. The students learning objectives are the GLCEs, so schools that implement the Michigan Model are completely addressing the Michigan Health Education Standards and GLCEs.
Pre- and post-tests for Grades 2 through 6 and Correlations to English Language Arts and Social Studies GLCEs are now available for teachers' use.
The Michigan Model for Health curriculum for grades 7-12 is organized into topical modules for middle school and high school. Lessons teach the knowledge and develop the skills students need to support and enhance healthy lifestyles. The
