EISD'S PHILOSOPHY ABOUT TALENT DEVELOPMENT
Welcome to the Eaton Intermediate Talent Development page. Here you can find helpful information and resources for parenting and educating the gifted child, this wonderful individual who is at the same time exhilarating and exhausting, demonstrates mature problem-solving skills one minute, and throws a temper tantrum the next. Eaton area schools are committed to the provision of an appropriate education for all students. Additionally, Section 1147B of Public Act 335 states that "each district shall recognize and meet the educational needs for different learning environments required by a diverse pupil population."
Eaton ISD's Instructional Services Department provides liaison and coordination of services that enable talented Eaton County area students to attend a variety of specialized programs that provide dual enrollment, acceleration, and/or enrichment.
