CAREER PREPARATION CENTER
On behalf of the Career Preparation staff, welcome to Eaton Intermediate School District's Career Preparation Center website.
The Career Preparation Center (CPC) is situated on the west and downtown campuses of Lansing Community College.
Our office is located in Room M104 of the Lansing Community College West Campus. In this section, you can find information on programs, staffing, and the many other services that Eaton ISD provides.
Eaton ISD and the Career Preparation Center have partnered with Lansing Community College for over 35 years to offer career preparation programs to area high school students. By enrolling and successfully completing these programs, students will learn a transferable skill, earn high school credit, and have an opportunity to earn actual college credit.
In addition to eighteen programs located at Lansing Community College, three programs are located "off campus." Our AIS Heavy Equipment programs are located at AIS Construction Company in Lansing. The Zoology and Aquarium Science program is located at the Potter Park Zoo in Lansing. The Insurance Risk Program is offered through Olivet College at Farm Bureau Insurance in Lansing.
Successful graduates of our programs have found employment in their program area, entered into an apprenticeship program, continued at LCC to earn an associate degree, or transferred to a university to continue their education.
Whichever of these goals you may have for yourself this year, Eaton ISD Career Preparation Center's instructors and staff are prepared to help you reach them.
