School Services

As an educational service agency, Eaton Intermediate School District (ISD) provides a full range of services to school districts within Eaton County. Eaton ISD's mission is to be of service to the constituent districts we support. We have a dedicated and talented staff who bring experience, well-honed skills, and a caring commitment to their varied roles. We continue to be committed to helping ensure that all students are successful and that the various staff members who serve these students have the resources and support necessary to meet this goal of student success.

Career Preparation Center

Eaton ISD and the Career Preparation Center have partnered with Lansing Community College for over 35 years to offer Career Preparation programs to area high school students.  By enrolling in and successfully completing these programs, students will learn a transferable skill, earn high school credit, and have an opportunity to earn actual college credit.

Finance & Admininstration

The Eaton ISD Business Office records and reports all financial transactions of the organization in the General Education, Special Education, Vocational Education, Capital Projects Funds, and Funded Projects. Financial Services has legal reporting responsibilities and may also be called upon to perform audits by the Michigan Department of Education.

Instructional Services

The Instructional Services Department provides technical assistance, professional development, and support to districts and educators. The specialists in this department are available to provide direct assistance to districts and staff in the areas of General Education, Prevention, and Technology.

Meadowview School

The Meadowview School is a public school/center-based program operated by the Eaton Intermediate School District (ISD). Meadowview has been in operation since 1974, serving children and young adults with developmental disabilities from the five local school districts in Eaton County: Charlotte, Eaton Rapids, Grand Ledge, Maple Valley, and Potterville.

Special Education

It is the responsibility of the Special Education Department to ensure the adequate provision of services to meet the needs of educationally handicapped students within Eaton County. Recognizing and respecting the needs of individuals and organizations, this department shall work in a cooperative manner with its local and state constituencies, utilizing the available resources in the most effective manner possible.

Technology

The Technology Services Department supports approximately 300 users, 450 workstations (including laptops, desktops, and handheld computers), 8 different sites, and 10 Enterprise SAN (Storage Area Network) cluster solutions throughout the various Eaton ISD sites. Technology Services provides support to local districts in the areas of consortium purchasing and instructional technology.
