Jobs, Education, and Training (JET) Program

The Jobs, Education, and Training (JET) program teaches job search and career skills and provides referrals for clients to find jobs. JET is a customized program for the specific needs of each participant.

The JET program provides clients case management assistance to facilitate economic empowerment by eliminating the classic barriers experienced by men and women entering the work force. In some cases, JET can also provide temporary transportation assistance and transportation planning and access to childcare resources.

JET also partners with local and national businesses, organizations, corporations, and volunteer experts to provide employment referrals, counseling, internships, mentoring, support groups, résumé writing and interviewing skills workshops, career training through links with local community colleges and businesses, wardrobe support, and assistance with job placement.
