Summer Reading Academy

Eaton Intermediate School District began the Summer Reading Academy in 2008. This edifying program has been continued every year since with the goal of giving struggling readers more opportunities to learn and read fluently with understanding and to learn to love the adventure of reading. During the academy, students receive specialized instruction in reading through creative, lively activities that include choral reading, independent reading, partner reading, and discussion about the books they read.
